As Quality Engineer, I am committed to ensuring the quality of our products and making improvements where necessary. I assess the complaints received and investigate them together with the engineers from our RD&E department. In doing so, we often have close contact with the users of our sensor solutions.
We use the results of those investigations for our continuous improvement process. My motto: by working together, we improve quality.
On finishing my education, I worked in various sectors such as telecoms, medical, and mechanical engineering. This means that I’ve held a variety of jobs in different departments and that helps me tremendously in understanding the needs of others.
The size and appearance of an organization is important to me, and Sentech fits that image perfectly. Transparency and collegiality are things that particularly appeal to me. And, of course, thinking out-of-the-box. This is how we come up with solutions together.
I live with my Irish partner. We often go to Ireland, where there is still a lot to discover even for her. We also enjoy going out cycling and volunteer dog walking.
Model trains are a big hobby of mine. That’s where I can put my knowledge of electronics to good use. Whereas scenery, on the other hand, requires very different skills. I’m a regular at the model train store. That’s where I often get consulted when someone has technical questions. I’m also in attendance there regularly with a demo layout, to show the possibilities and explain a control program.
