Jurre van Son

During my electrical engineering course at Fontys University of Applied Sciences, I started working in Sentech’s RD&E department in early 2019.

I fulfilled various roles in the Quality and RD&E departments, and immediately after completion of my course I took the bold step of taking on a technical commercial role in the Sales department. I’m really glad about my decision!

As an Account Manager, I work in a dynamic environment with plenty of social interaction. Even better, the job also involves challenging measurement and detection issues, as well as innovative technology. Together with my enthusiastic and committed colleagues, I am keen to look in depth at your specific needs, so that we can work out the best sensor solution together.

In my view, Sentech is an ambitious company. It offers an environment where growth is encouraged and where there’s plenty of room for personal initiative. This challenges me to keep doing better every day. My colleagues are driven and transparent communication is prioritized.
I believe this is the basis for a good relationship. I also believe that successful business is based on mutual respect.

In the weekends, you can often find me behind the mixing desk, as I work as a DJ in my own company outside of work. I also enjoy spending my free time with friends and family. One of our favorite pastimes is enjoying a special brew with a nice piece of meat from the Kamado BBQ. You can also frequently find me at local soccer club RKVV Nieuwkuijk, both for the match itself and the post-match get-together.
