Maarten van Veen

I am Maarten van Veen and I am in my third year of studying Mechatronics at the Fontys University of Applied Sciences. At Sentech, I can combine the theory that I have learned over the past two years into a project.

With the freedom and knowledge that Sentech offers, my development as an engineer-to-be is growing. As an intern, I’m working on a new connector sensor solution. I do this in collaboration with David Reuijl.

Sentech offers me the opportunity to continue to develop in an informal atmosphere. This really appeals to me — especially thanks to the low threshold within this organization.

In my spare time, I can often be found on the water. After all, I grew up sailing. And I’ve been passing on this interest by being an instructor at a sailing school for the past two years. In addition, I am a member of some clubs in Eindhoven so I can optimally experience the student life. Now and then, I have a beer with friends.
