As Inside Sales Engineer, I work together with the Account Managers to provide the customer the most appropriate sensor solution.

Previously, I worked as an R&D Engineer at a manufacturer of large agricultural machines. I also worked as a researcher into precision agriculture applications. You could say that I have a feeling for the agricultural sector. That’s why my focus at Sentech is now on agricultural projects, among others.

I believe in the application of sensors. There is increasingly more automation in all sectors and environments. Without sensors, there is insufficient insight into what is going on. Sensors can also make people’s lives quite a bit easier and more fun.

I chose to work at Sentech because several core values of the organization are a good fit with me. For example, it’s appealing to me that Sentech values transparency and involvement. These are not just catchphrases; they are something that is genuinely observed and conveyed within the organization.

Outside of work, I enjoy being active. I have recently started doing CrossFit after having exercised for years. I also like to walk with my dog, and I take the dog to dog training once per week.

If there is anything that must be fixed around the house, I often do it or I help to do it. A hobby that I mainly practice during vacations is traveling. I like to explore new places. In doing this, I always look for a mix between nature and cities.
