As HR Business Partner, I am responsible for the development, implementation and evaluation of the policy of the Human Resources (HR) department. The aim is to have an attractive and professional organization that functions well. That’s how we make Sentech ready for the future.
In recent years, I have built up a strong HR foundation – from operational and practical work to strategic and policy-related HR issues. I have also focused my attention on risk management and advice at the political-administrative level.
The department of Human Resources makes an important contribution to the realization of Sentech’s mission and strategic objectives. This contribution occurs based on the demand from the organization (employees and managers), on the one hand, and on the supply from the department’s professionalism and its role as a strategic partner, on the other hand. In my current position, I am the person ultimately responsible for HR. The focus lies at the strategic/tactical level, but I still regularly find myself in a hands-on role. The energy we exhibit in collectively taking on challenges is always focused on adding value. That’s what makes working at Sentech unique.
I get energy from dealing with complex HR challenges. Furthermore, there is room to think more broadly – in an innovative and creative manner – about the continued development of the organization, the department, my team and myself.
Besides my work at Sentech, I am in a relationship with Gerbe. We live in Breda with our son and three ‘bonus’ daughters. Even at home, we like to take on challenges. Two of those are cycling and mountain climbing.
