Erwin de Groot

As CFO, I am responsible (along with my teams) for the finances and IT activities of Sentech. Contact with Sentech’s financial stakeholders is also part of my role. Together with the management team, I implement the organization’s growth strategy.

I have more than 15 years of experience in various financial roles. These were positions at banks and consultancy firms in the field of mergers and acquisitions. I have regularly lived and worked abroad when doing this work. After that, I fulfilled roles at various medium-sized organizations in the fields of finance, business development, and acquisitions.

Sentech is a very healthy company with a special market position and proposition and unique products. The opportunities to further build upon the growth of this organization give me a great deal of energy. The professionalism and the organization’s focus on people is a good fit for me.

I live together with my partner and our young son in the Den Bosch area, where I was also raised. I enjoy filling my spare time with friends and family — but also with good food, whether or not I have prepared it, and a nice glass of wine. As a family, we like to travel. Spain is one of our favorites. Closer to home, we enjoy going to Terschelling to get some fresh air and just get away from the daily hustle and bustle.
