As an Assistant Purchaser, I support the supply chain department. My day-to-day tasks range from confirming purchase orders to printing labels. I keep my colleagues in sales informed about deliveries of purchased items, as well as about any possible delays and preventing them.

Things immediately felt right when I was applying for the job, and I soon felt at home here. The open culture really appealed to me, for example. This sector is new to me, but that’s where the challenge lies. At Sentech, I’m given room to further develop myself. With the different departments, we form a nice team together.

I was born and raised in Pietermaritzburg in South Africa. Since 2005, I’ve lived in the Netherlands, where I met my husband Richard in 2008 during Carnival.

In my spare time, I can often be found at the baseball club where I coach the team of my youngest son Marco and support the team of my oldest son Thijs. I also enjoy camping. We love exploring southern countries in our caravan.
